Evoked Potential Testing System
Evoked potential (EP) testing measures the brain's electrical response to sensory stimuli like sight, sound, or touch. The non-invasive procedure uses electrodes placed on the scalp or other parts of the body to record how quickly and completely nerve signals travel to the brain, helping to diagnose neurological conditions like multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, and tumors. Common types of EP tests include visual (VEP), auditory (BAER), and somatosensory (SSER).
