Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy
1. Return & Exchange Policy –
1.1 Eligibility
Customer is entitled to request a return or exchange within seven (7) days of product delivery, applicable only to SURGICAL products.
1.2 Process
- The return or exchange request shall be initiated by the Customer via email to support@biomedkart.com.
- If additional clarification is required, Biomedkart reserves the right to contact the Customer prior to processing the request.
- The Operations Team shall schedule pickup of the product within three (3/4) business days from the date of request initiation.
- Upon receipt of the product, the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team shall inspect the returned item.
- Post-approval by QA/QC, the replacement shall be initiated. The total time frame for return approval to replacement initiation shall not exceed fifteen (15) working days.
1.3 Conditions for Approval
- Request must be initiated within seven (7) days of delivery. The Customer should be able to give satisfactory reason for return, as these are surgical products and send only against confirmed order Biomedkart reserves the right to deny the return or refund.
- The product must:
- Be unused and undamaged.
- Have no custom modifications (e.g., engraving, embroidery).
- Be complete with all original parts and accessories intact.
2. Return & Replacement Policy – Other Products
2.1 Eligibility
Return or replacement requests may be raised under the following conditions:
- Product is physically damaged during transit.
- Product is defective or non-functional (applicable to equipment and instruments).
- Product has a shelf life of less than one (1) month at the time of delivery (for perishable goods).
- Product is incomplete or has missing components.
- Product delivered is not as per the order placed.
2.2 Process
- The Customer must submit the request to support@biomedkart.com, along with the following:
- Photographic or video evidence of the defect/damage.
- Photo of the shipping label showing the order ID.
- Invoice or bill copy.
- Biomedkart may request additional documentation or clarification prior to approval.
- The Operations Team will schedule pickup within three (3) business days post-approval.
- The returned product shall be reviewed by the QA/QC team. Upon approval, a replacement will be initiated within seven (7) working days.
2.3 Conditions for Approval
- Request must be raised within seven (7) days of product receipt.
- Returns will only be processed if:
- The item is unused and undamaged.
- All original components/accessories are intact.
- There are no customizations made to the product.
- If the product is unavailable for replacement, a refund will be issued via payment gateway, credit note, or coupon.
- Sterile products are eligible for return only in case of incorrect delivery.
- Biomedkart reserves the right to decline requests deemed ineligible or not genuine.
3. Order Cancellation Policy
3.1 Eligibility
Order cancellation and refund requests shall be accepted under the following conditions:
- Cancellation is initiated within six (6) hours of order placement and the order has not yet been shipped.
- Delivery is delayed by more than twenty-one (21) days from the date of order (excluding made-to-order items, large equipment, and furniture).
3.2 Exceptions
Orders placed for custom-procured items are not eligible for cancellation. Requests for cancellation of such items may be considered at Biomedkart’s sole discretion.
3.3 Rights Reserved
Biomedkart reserves the right to approve or reject cancellation requests at its discretion.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 Initiation
Refund shall be initiated upon confirmation of cancellation or return approval by Biomedkart. The Customer will receive notification via email.
4.2 Modes of Refund
Payment Gateway (Card/Bank/UPI): Processed within seven (10) days from the return acceptance date.
NEFT/RTGS to Bank Account: Processed within ten (10) days from the acceptance date
5. Terms Applicable to Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
5.1 Delivery
- An OTP shall be sent to the Customer’s registered mobile number and email address.
- Delivery personnel will contact the Customer via the registered mobile number only.
- Three (3) delivery attempts will be made. Failure to deliver after three attempts will result in return of the shipment.
5.2 Disputes
- In case of wrong or damaged product delivery, the Customer must email relevant photographs to support@biomedkart.com within twenty-four (24) hours.
- If the Customer receives a delivery confirmation but does not receive the product, Biomedkart must be notified via email within twenty-four (24) hours.
5.3 Returns
- A maximum of two (2) pickup attempts will be made for returns.
- During pickup, the Customer must ensure the package is sealed by the pickup agent in their presence.
