Elevated Bed Wedge / Reflux Bed Riser Blocks
Bed riser blocks or elevated bed wedges are devices used to raise the head side of the bed to help reduce nighttime acid reflux. By elevating the upper body during sleep, these supports use gravity to prevent stomach acid from flowing back into the esophagus. This position can help decrease symptoms such as heartburn, regurgitation, and nighttime discomfort commonly experienced by patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Maintaining a slightly elevated sleeping position can also improve overall sleep quality and support better management of reflux-related symptoms.
