A Digital RVG (RadioVisioGraphy)
sensor is an electronic device that
captures X-ray images directly inside
a patient's mouth, replacing
traditional dental X-ray film. It is
used to take highly detailed, instant
pictures of teeth and the surrounding
bone to diagnose cavities, infections,
and bone loss. This sensor is a core
component of digital dental X-ray
systems found in modern dental
clinics. Its main benefit is providing
immediate images with a significant
reduction in radiation exposure for
the patient compared to conventional
methods.
